How to Take Better Photos of Your Kids
3 tips for better pictures of your little ones
1. Focus on their eyes.
Eyes are what make an image POP! You can get your child to look at the camera by telling them there’s a butterfly in there, pointing to the lens, and asking if they can see it. Then CLICK!
2. Avoid harsh light.
Find some shade under a tree or next to a wall/building. If you take photos starting two hours before sunset during golden hour, the light will be dreamy and soft.
3. Make it a selfie!
Flip the camera so that your child can see their face and ask, “Who is that cutie?” Give them a tickle or use a funny voice to get a big smile and laugh.
